Do I have to work the path in order? Am I able to work different levels like I did with different manuals?

The projects within a single path are designed to build upon each other. Because of that, you need to work through each level in order to complete a path. However, you can work on multiple paths at the same time. Also, you can do more than just the minimum number of electives in each level.
